Blue vs. seal: understanding Ragdoll colors
How blue and seal colouring develops, and why every Ragdoll’s markings are beautifully individual.

Ragdoll kittens are born nearly white. Their points and patterns deepen gradually, often continuing to develop for several years. Seal colouring is a rich, warm dark brown, while blue is the diluted form of seal and appears as a soft cool grey.\n\nBicolor refers to the white inverted V on the face, white legs, and white underbody. Mitted Ragdolls have coloured legs with white mittens and boots, often with a white chin.\n\nColour is lovely, but temperament and fit should lead the decision. Every kitten is individual, and their personality is what families remember most.
